Why Did I Start a Family Blog?
I'm the type of person who collects photos and memorabilia, has every intention of dispersing them to our family and friends, and then, weeks later, discovers them still sitting on my desk. So, being realistic about my forgetful mailing ways, and realizing that technology has now caught up to many of my wish-list requirements for convenience on the web, I've created this blog to update those who are interested.
The Vasilarakos Surname
It was not so long ago that typing "Vasilarakos" into Google would yield a page- maybe two- of listings on the web. Chess Club results, a restaurant interview, a college thesis, but not much more. We could place every reference with a direct relative. Recently, however, we're noting a number of entries under "Vasilarakos" with first names we don't recognize. Could these be distant relatives from Greece? If so, we'd love to hear from you!

Lucas: Lucas.
Coach: Son, out here on the football field we go by last names.

Coach: Okay- Lucas- I need you to come get these two bags...
