I'm Not Normally A Purple Person

so I wasn't sure where I was going to display this embroidered cloth that came to me after ProYiaYia, Basil's grandmother, passed on a few years ago. This was one of her pieces she had hand-embroidered as a young woman. I had put it in the china cabinet along with the other tablecloths and tablerunners and, essentially, out of sight, out of mind. So when I was changing out the kitchen tablecloth recently and was reminded of it, I became determined to use it- and boy, am I glad I did. The colors are beautiful! (And doesn't it look great with the amber vase I already had?)
